Montaż Film Festiwal is an international festival of short-length and medium-length films. The festival bases on the Main Competition, during which the participating editors are awarded in four different categories: fiction, documentary, music video and trailer.

Audience of the 2016 edition.

MFF takes its place in Poland- city of Lodz which is known from its film traditions.

We seek to maintain an opinion among filmmakers that film editing is, as Orson Welles once said:

The image itself is not enough- it’s incredibly important, but it’s just an image. The duration of each image on the screen and what happens afterwards is crucial. The whole storytelling process and message are both created in the editing studio.

This year’s winners will receive a Golden Scissors statuette and Avid Media Composer software! Thank you Avid and ADTV
